Scubar
i have just downloaded and tried out the new WinUHA RC1 to compare it against WinRAR and i am amazed at the results.56.1MB unpacked size WinRAR Maximum Compression 17.6MB totalWinUHA Maximum Compression 11.3MB totalneed i say morehttp://www.klaimsoft.com/winuha/might be useful as a good alternative if u really want to cram stuff in to small spaces Edited June 15, 2005 by ScubaSteve
mark strelecki
I agree with ScubaSteve - WinUHA really shrinks stuff...But at what TIME cost? WinUHA is slower than WinRAR at both compression and decompression.I wonder if we'll see similar features in the next WinRAR, my archiver of choice (having switched from WinZip some time ago).ScubaSteve, please share your working times for the above ref'd process. Thanks for mentioning the latest and greatest archiving application here in the forums.
