The question that i'm having isi want to use this cdimage utility to make an image of windows xp and burn it into CD so that i can perform fully unattended installation in my computer with this CD. How can i do that.?Oh no, i don't want to use any software to help me do this. I prefer to do everything manually.thank you very much.
dford Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 I take it you have the Winpe folder.In Winpe run OSCDIMG -n -h -bETFSBOOT.COM C:\YourCD Foler Files C:\YourCDIMG.iso
member11 Posted June 14, 2005 Author Posted June 14, 2005 (edited) i don't have winpe but i have cdimage. The question here is will your suggestion work with boot.img instead of ETFSBOOT.COM .?thanks Edited June 14, 2005 by msfn11
Yzöwl Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 CDIMAGE.EXE -lXPSP2_EN -j1 -m -bxpboot.img F:\UWXPCD F:\XPSP2_EN.ISOwhereCDIMAGE.EXE is obvious and if not in %PATH% will need location specifyingXPSP2_EN is the CD-Label you require (no spaces)xpboot.img is obvious and if not in %PATH% will need location specifyingF:\UWXPCD is the path to your cd source F:\XPSP2_EN.ISO is the name and location you want to give your resulting ISO
