How to include my 3Com 3C940 drivers?

Note: I don't want to use ready stuff like Drive Packs.

I'm very confused with this new experience.

What I want to do is to include my 3Com 3C940 into my slipstreamed copy of Windows XP Professional SP2.

I already succefully included my Via VT8237 Serial ATA drivers, but I'm not sure how to include my LAN driver.

Could someone plz resume the BEST script/method to use?

Note that my SATA driver is located in:

/$OEM$/$1/drivers/SATA/VT8237

therefore I would like to place my LAN driver in:

/$OEM$/$1/drivers/LAN/3C940
