remove Windows Update Tab @ My computer

Hello all!

I dont know how to explain, but check the picture...

I got this option since I integrated RyanVM 122-A (to fix the network bug)...which it is total useless...(unclickable)

My question is HOW TO REMOVE THE **** update Tab ...

You can make me happy for helping me out,

If you don't use auto updates then remove it using nLite and the tab will disappear. At least, it works for me.

Can you please add your nlite file, so i can see it Because I think I already tried :/

Have you tried this

• Start => Run => gpedit.msc => User Configuration => Administrative Templates => Windows Components => Windows Update. In the right pane, double click, Remove access to all Windows Update Features and set it to enabled

Yup tried it yesterday...doesnt work, I think I ve to re-build my ua cd (~ #100th ghehe)

Don't know what file you're talking about but, here's all you need to know. This is what you should remove:

Services:
Autoupdate

Hope that does it
