baggers02
Hi All!Recently developed a few problems with the system, when i power down the system simply re-boots. I have check and I am definatly powering down nor restarting! To poweroff I have to hold in the power button. In addition I have noticed my optical mouse remains on when the system is off.So obviously some power issues, this seems to have started since I have installed a new graphics card (nvidia FX5200 based) - Am i now on the limits of my power supply and is this why its playing up or are there any other issues.Motherboard is a via bases chipset. Thanks In advance. Delprat
My 2-cents-guess :check your BIOS settings :- disable APM (windows only needs ACPI)- sets the "state after power failure" to OFFand if possible, try with another power supply bye.
renzki
well since you installed a new gfx card it would be good if you remove it then check your system if the problem still persists... try doing a system restore before the gfx card installation and then reinstall the card driver... or maybe u just buy a new computer... ;P
