guruji Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 hai guys, here's the situation. I have integrated Service pack 2 to my windows xp cd with service pack 1. I want to make an unattendant windows xp CD. So I browse through the Internet, and landed here. I have made all the files, including winnt.sif, runonceex.cmd,etc. and have put those files to correct folders as well. Here's my questions. 1) Can't I test, whether everything is working properly, without burning the files to a CD or to an ISO and checking with Virtual PC or VMWare? 2) If its possible, will someone please teach the way to do it?
D.Celt Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 burn it to a cdrw, that'll allow you to make changes and burn it again.
rikgale Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 You've got to make and ISO to test it with VMWare etc. AFAIA there is no way round to not test it with a CD or ISO.
