jon86 Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Hi.I have searched the forum (and the Internet) quite a bit and couldn't find a clear-cut answer as to whether I should include the small .nvu and uninstallers when adding the drivers to [source]\$OEM$\drivers\*. If I do not include those files, will I be unable to uninstall them (not that I can imagine why I would want to?).Many thanks and I am sorry if this is a very noobish question to ask.Jon
htc Posted May 26, 2005 Posted May 26, 2005 Wellkom to forum! No, don't care it - the uninstall option for nForce chipsets etc. are 100% superfluous.Delete it and be happy The condition is that you've commented out the reference in .inf file - thus you will lose the WHQL certification - if you dont care. The benefit of the "careless" is, you can also delete the .cat file
Bâshrat the Sneaky Posted May 27, 2005 Posted May 27, 2005 ... but that even involves more work. So I'd recommend to just copy all the included files
