SP can't add apps, it is not its purpose, and even if it does, it will grow to a humongous file size, and then dialup/56k users will have to wait forever to d/l it. Not good. :(

But if u wanna brag about apps/tools/tweaks/etc lists, please check out mine [99.99% free(ware)]:

I have been using torrent clients for over 3 years, and also have a web site full of tweaks + guides [mdgx.com], which proves I'm at least vaguely familiar with computers, but that was not the point.

A 56k or slower dialup connection canNOT d/l any faster, *especially* from a network of torrent/emule/p2p "enabled" personal computers, which are anything but fast, as I'm sure you well know.

And u need to be lucky to find a few good "seeds" to get a decent transfer rate, depending on the particular file you're looking for.

So even on cable [4.8 mbit/sec in my case] bittorrent is not the solution. :(

And even if u get a decent rate, not everyone knows or cares about torrents and/or P2P networks.

I'd say roughly 30% of the software listed at my site is free GPL or open source, that's why I spelled it "free(ware)", because I put in 1 word all this: free, free GPL, open source, freeware + similar [donationware, cardware, emailware etc].

And from the link u have posted at the top of this topic:

http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/?showtopic=5622

I see u also like shareware, because there are a lot of "try-b4-u-buy" shareware/commercial apps on that list.

I probably have ~ 6 shareware/commercial apps/tools at my site, and those I've personally tested, used and found to be invaluable or the best in their categories.

About adding features to SP:

you'll have to ask Gape, the creator + maintainer.

Hope this helps.
