Corvius Posted May 20, 2005 Posted May 20, 2005 No idea where to post this, I guess it's sort of a hardware issue?? Anyways..I had 3 pc's all networked together with a linksys router that was old. So i went out today and bought a new one (NR041), I followed the steps to set it up religiously, all computer can access the net. BUT. With my last router, all the computers on the network could play Counter-Strike: Source without trouble, now, however, only one computer can actually get into a game server. If any other computers try to join the SAME server, the connected computer gets booted off. I was guessing it had something to do with 3 computers trying to access the same server as 1 ip address, but i have no clue as to why it worked with my first router and not this one. Are there any specific setting i should change? I use comcast....This router doesn't seem to have a MAC address 'clone' feature, it has a place where i can input a MAC address, but it doesnt say clone. Anyways, that might not even be the problem. Please! any input would be greatly appreciated.
