gui_m
hello! Is it possible to place the Recycle Bin Icon at the system tray (I would really like to have a completely clean desktop yet still maintain a quick functionality for the recycle bin). Thanks in advance
durex
I go for the exact same thing.... dont think theres anyway to place it in the system tray, but what you can do (and what i do) is place a shortcut to your recycle bin in your quick launch toolbar. This way you can remove recycle bin from the desktop, but still have the easy access of emptying and accessing it. KJxp
If you want to hide Recycle Bin on the desktop, but want to keep it visible in explorer, use this reg file:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons][HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons\ClassicStartMenu]"{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}"=dword:00000001[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\HideDesktopIcons\NewStartPanel]"{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}"=dword:00000001
