redder
Remember all that talk about Microsoft creating a OS specificly for Asian countries and in countries where software piracy is very active? Aperantly this is it:http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/press/2...rterPilotPR.asphttp://www.microsoft.com/presspass/newsroo...xpstarterfs.asphttp://www.microsoft.com/presspass/newsroo...er-material.aspI have found no information about it but the one that is on Microsoft's site, and I was surprised to have found NOTHING about it on MSFN, or maybe i just used the search function incorrectly, either way, if anyone is using it, or has access to it, it would be awesome if you could tell us the main diferences, because I can't seem to find anything on it online. redder
I guess... no one from MSFN has it on their computers...
SiMoNsAyS
there was some talking about this, i posted it a few months ago.the main difference is that it will only manage some processes at the same time (i think it was 3 as maximum). the biggest resolution will be 800x600 and it will use a new technology by microsoft that prevents the installation if some custom hardware is not found (i think it was called paladium or something similar). From everything I've found about it, it doesn't seem to be a viable competitor against Linux machines because of its "horrendous limitations"
Martin Zugec
Well, most of countries were not interested in this OS, that is why there is silence around it.
