strawberry Posted May 9, 2005 Share Posted May 9, 2005 hi,once again i come here to search help in all you wisdomi have a problem i never haddon't ask me what i have done lately that could have done that, cause i don't remember doing anything recently...or installing appart from pshop cs2i can't install or uninstall any .msi setup filei can't access and launch any control panel icons, i see my panel, i can see and open network or any subfolders but no panel will open, so, no add remove works, i can't accees my services even launching with command line services.msci can't install msi setup either...i can't launch diskeeper...NB: i created another account, everything works fine...on that accountis there any dependency i could have deleted or destroyed do you think of anyway to restore that problemand yes i'm an admin on that system (always worked in the past)thanks for your help or anything like this.. systeman Posted May 10, 2005 Share Posted May 10, 2005 It seems that your account has been kicked out from Local administrator group, try to add it back and then you can perform anything you want.Or check your Group Policy to find out whether any unexpected configuration has prevented such ado.
