The Error Code is 7.What can i do? It should be the released version of Windows x64 Pro (1830) but i cant say it exactly.I searched via google, but i didnt found an answer. In other forums they post a link to a microsoft support site, but thesolution to press F5 or F6 when promptet to press F6 for 3rd party driversdoes not work. rjz Posted May 10, 2005 Posted May 10, 2005 Try to run the setup after you copy the cd to the hd. I would also only use cdr's when making boot windows cds.
offset Posted May 10, 2005 Author Posted May 10, 2005 It's not possible to run the setup of the 64 bit version of windows from a 32bit windows OS.It says i have to boot from cd.
Aegis Posted May 12, 2005 Posted May 12, 2005 You didn't mention your processor. Some Sempron chips are Socket-939, but Semprons aren't 64-bit compatible. It could also be that you have a missing, corrupt, or 32-bit version of ntkrnlmp.exe. I'm not sure about this, as I don't have the 64-bit version, but why do you have a Windows Server 2003 SP1 version of setup? If you did take files from Server 2003, then that's your problem. The file would be 32-bit and use completely different DLL functions.
