gamehead200 Posted December 19, 2002 Posted December 19, 2002 How do I boot off a CD if my CD-ROM drive is connected to a SCSI card?
ThA_FiLeR Posted December 19, 2002 Posted December 19, 2002 Go into SCSI bios and make the CDROM 1st boot, or connect the CDROM as primary.
gamehead200 Posted December 19, 2002 Author Posted December 19, 2002 Filer, this computer has a mobo that doesn't have the right connection for my CD-ROM...I tried going into the SCSI bios, but it won't let me change the boot sequence...Right now, it is set to 0...(Post# 500 )
gamehead200 Posted December 19, 2002 Author Posted December 19, 2002 OK, now I selected ID# 4, my CD-ROM, but it still goes to my OS Loader, BTW, Windows NT 4 is on this computer...
MSNwar Posted December 19, 2002 Posted December 19, 2002 Try #7 Gamehead. The magic number! If that does not work try 0-9 till it boots. Also set your mobo BIOS to boot from first SCSI device. Thats what I had to do.
gamehead200 Posted December 19, 2002 Author Posted December 19, 2002 Tried booting off SCSI in BIOS, but it always goes to my Boot Menu...
