Adding Explorer & wow32.dll ... ?

Featured Replies

Has anyone added an explorer shell & used the wow32.dll in PE?

In order to run 16bit old apps within the 32bit environment?

The whole point is NOT to allow the 16bit apps but hey...

Any takers on this or links?

I have tried the link, and it doesnt work. I would really like a 16 bit support guide for MS WinPE as there are so many old tools which i still use, and would be nice on a boot cd. If anyone has managed this successfully, please let us know!

Using the previous posted link, I try to run a 16 bit app and I get something like: "not enough disk space to create temporary 16 bit subsystem". I have tried loads of apps, which definitely do not need write access to a HD so that is not the problem. Any Ideas???
