dear people,

I use silent installs for both appls(Firefox 1.0.3,JRE 1.5)..

it works well.... but...

i install both apps as administrator(via loginscripts)

when i access a page with an java applet as user, nothing happend.. no java..

to get it work i have to login as administrator and start an applett.. after that, its possible to use the java vm as user, too..

thats not really an option for me..

any ideas? suggestions?

PS: it's no problem with mozilla..

PPS: i tried to analize the reg-/filechanges during registration as user/admin with no success..

PPPS: i reproduced the problem with the default installation too (no silent things..)

Could you show us a page with the problem? I haven't been able to reproduce your problem.

I got the problem on every java-applet sites..

for example on http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml.

if u install jre/ff as admin..

and start it as user you are able to run applets?

do i need to follow an special order(jre before ff for example)?
