hi all

any one know what i cant install my sidewinder game pad ?

i install the software plugin the joypad but thre comp wont set it up right and it just keeps apearing in the device manager as an unknowen device

i tryed asking M$ but all i got back from them was there usual buracratic **** saying that it was a unsupported product so there not goin to make may attemp to help me

its a usb pad and im running 98selite

you need to install the software included with the pad.

i've got the same pad and the idea of having a 3d controller is good but it's really hard con configure properlly and really hard to use it

my problem is that i install the software that comes with the pad but when i plug in the joypad insted of it detecting the software and setting the pad up correcty it wont it keeps setting it up as some unknowen usb device and when i try pointin the setup process to the *.inf file installed by the software it just says that it dosnt contain any info about the hardware device

i have tryed every trick in the book to get this working and its starting to anoy me becaue all that pad is good for right now is being used as a paper weight

you any idea why this isnt working ? what im doing wrong ??

try with the pad connected while installing, for me it works
