a06lp
should codecs be installed BEFORE or AFTER all programs? (ie, firefox, etc.)
RyanVM
I strongly doubt it matters
a06lp
i think it does in terms of firefox getting codecs - do they need to be installed before or after firefox to be associated automatically?
n7Epsilon
Hi, I myself prefer to keep it afterwards since programs that like to install FireFox plugins copy files to %ProgramFiles%\Mozilla FireFox\plugins which of course doesn't exist before installing FireFox...--> So JRE first, FireFox second, Codecs and others third...--> That's my setup and works flawlessly... RyanVM
Codecs and browser plugins are two very different things...
n7Epsilon
But, don't codecs install themselves in FireFox via browser plugins ?-- eg: QuickTime: npqtplugin6.dll
