Can I use e "Restore CD" to dual-boot?

I wish to dual-boot "Win98 SE" and "Win XP". I am aware that "98" needs to be installed first and therein lies the nub of my problem.

I only have a "OEM rescue disk" and I am a bit worried that formatting the HD for "98" will mean that I will not be able to use the rescue disk to reinstall "XP". The contents of the recovery disk are as follows ;

$OEM$ ; DOCS ; DOTNETFX ; I386 ; SUPPORT ; VALUE ADD ; AUTORUN ; README ; SETUP ; SPNOTES ; WIN 51 ; WIN 51IC and WIN51IC.SP1.

Can anyone give me the definitive answer to my problem as the manufacturer's helpline is useless - a "Premium Line" on which I get, "All of our operatives are busy at the moment, please hang on", at that cost...No!

that sounds like a normal xp disc with added extras for the mamufacturer (OEM folder)

if its bootable, it will work fine with no problems after formatting

Thanks for the reassurance bledd. The CD is bootable - it's the one I use to make "nLite" installation discs. Cheers!
