olocin Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 hi can anyone help me on Disabling the Ability to Add or Remove IE's Toolbars? for win2k prof SP2, and win98 SE thank you so much
oioldman Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 Internet Explorer Administration Kit can do all that for you.Visit;http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ieak/default.mspxand that will allow you to do so much more with IE.
Gurgelmeyer Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 In Win2k you can just run gpedit.msc (Group Policy) - navigate to "User Configuration" -> "Administrative Templates" -> "Windows Components" -> "Internet Explorer" -> "Toolbars"
oioldman Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 Yes, but policy changes affect the whole PC and all users, if i remember correctly. So, be careful with that option.
