SiMoNsAyS Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 i think it's trying to render a gif file (http://www.ojogo.pt/Imagens/pub.gif) like if it was text...btw on my firefox it looks ok
RockmanRotties Posted April 26, 2005 Author Posted April 26, 2005 Never mind..firefox worked fine with this site...and IE 6.0 version seems fine with it now, whew! I am so happy now. But Windows XP SP 2 is worth to download ? Because I had some problem with it thats why I uninstalled it and everything seems fine however I am afraid to try windows update it and can screw things up like few hours ago to a day ago. What is your suggestion ?
KJxp Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 If you have another harddrive or enough space on your current drive, make a partition copy with the free BootIt NG program (Terrabyte Unlimited) and then install SP2. Then you can always revert back if there is a problem.
RockmanRotties Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 Unfortunately, no. But thats ok, I will not update SP2..should I ? *sighing* I am confuse.
SiMoNsAyS Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 you should (IMO) and you'll have to do it on a couple of months (microsoft will force all xp systems to update to sp2)
DigeratiPrime Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 do what most of us here do, use nlite, copy your xp cd to the hard drive, slipstream SP2, burn and install from that.
RockmanRotties Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 So you guys are on Sp2 and are using firefox ?
RockmanRotties Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 Then why does sp2 had a weird behave with my firefox before ? So I uninstalled it and it seems fine to me. What do you think ?
RockmanRotties Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 Before SP2 because I decide to go with firefox then I thought why not sp2 after that...thats why.I shouldn't ?? I should installed Sp2 first then firefox ?
KJxp Posted April 27, 2005 Posted April 27, 2005 I don't know. I did, and I haven't had a problem. But that isn't proof either way.
