zillah
I have got Desktop IBM P4 with two OSs (Win2000 Server and Win 2003 server)I have got two NIC cards : Intel Pro (Built-in), and D-link (PCI)I assigned statically two different IP addresses for both NICs and for Both OSs.If I boot Win2003 server, from the cmd screen and by using : ipconfig / all, I can see IP addresses for both NIC cards. But If I boot Win2000 Server, from the cmd screen and by using : ipconfig /all, I can not see IP addresses for both NIC cards, I can see IP address for D-Link only ( I can not see IP address for Intel Pro).Is there any reason for that ? zillah
Have you tried updated drivers might fix itNo, I have not. But I doubted that the problem with the driver, because I have got 15 PCs all the them identical, they are working fine, some with XP OS and some with win2k server and other with win2003. zillah
The problem has been solved when I ticked the box of the 'Network Load Balancing', under 'Components checked are used by this connections' in the 'Intel PRO properties' windows. But why do the other PCs work without checking (ticking) this option ?
