Networking Help win2k3 to XP

I have a network somewhat setup i guess on my two computers. They share an internet connection, but after that there isn't anything.

I can't seem to get file sharing to work, and i'd also like to be able to control the other Computer using XP home edition from my computer using win 2k3 Web edition and i'm curious how i'd go about that.

Any help or reading material would be great.

For file sharing. Make sure they are on the same WORKGROUP. Also, make sure there firewalls arent blocking you from accessing the remote computer.
