Just updating my original Multidvd & experiencing this problem. I still use the old diskemu & find it very reliable. I made the xp source using Goshs method ( same as previously done) with the boot files in the root & i386 dir in setup. Altered the relevant files setupldr.bin & Txtsetup.sif to the correct paths. Got the cd ident files in the root.

When I boot this in virt pc I select xp in the menu xp iniatial setup comes up etc but while loading errors & complains 3waredrv.sys is not present there is only a cabbed ver of this in i386 3waredrv.sy_

Went over this many times now, I do not have any trouble with xp outside of Multibooting works in UA a treat. Any thoughts on this appreciated....

Is the same error happening with VMware?

Also, I suggest you only use the BOOT folder from GOSH's method. You should use a genuine i386 folder instead of the one generated by his method... For example, you cannot /integrate: any hotfixes in a GOSH's i386 distribution folder...

Also, make sure your txtsetup.sif file is pointing to the correct location on the multiboot CD/DVD. I've made that mistake a few times when first starting out.

Found my problem, been use to havin everything Nlited, but usin Goshs method for boot files will play havoc & complain of missin files or can't find NTLDR etc etc. Simply made the boot files again with clean updated sp2 & nothing else all workin OK.
