Featured Replies

I am changing my mobo and need some help in picking which 1 should go with here is what I narrowed it go to 1.ASUS A7V KT266 DDR 200/266 w/o Audio

2.MSI K7T266 Pro2-RU

If possible I need some help before the 3rd for that is when I get my disabilty pay. Thanks to all for your help and time.

You could also consider A7V266-E which comes with the new VIA KT266A chipset ->

Not to educated on the MSI boards but Ive been using ASUS for years and there extrealy stabile, and overcloking is great with them.

Epox is the best KT266A board, just check any hardware site and it is rated the best :)

I bought one last week and it is great. If you want to view a few reviews, try:

I would like to thank everyone for thier help and responce to this post.....Thanks

Make sure you get the new KT266 board. Don't get confused with the one that came out in April...the new one was released in September and is night and day compared to the old. From what I have read, that chipset is the fastest out there. Look at ht*p://www.tomshardware.com

I'd personally go Athlon XP and the Epox as it is the [i:7e4fc059ad]fastet[/i:7e4fc059ad] single CPU out there avaliable to the end user.

Any chance that the Athlon XP processors will work on my 2 month old Mobo? (MSI-6380 K7T266 Pro)

AMB that is one awesome setup you did there! Whew...he should be set for awhile! I just upgraded but didn't quite have the money or patience to wait for anybody to make a board with KT266A Chipset. I feel cheated...then again I always do because my computers are always outdated about two months after I buy them!:cry
