Impossible To Load Os !

Hello,

I have a home-made computer based on a ASUS P4T-E motherboard, 1.5GHz proc. 1GB SDRAM.

SCSI card 29160N, 3 HDD Cheetah 35GB 15,000 r/m. First HDD has 3 partitions, 1=10GB for OS (Windows XP Pro), 10GB for app's, 15GB for files. the other HDD for back-up's (images for vision systems analyzes).

When I try to load Windows XP Pro, or Windows 2000 Pro, systems hangs systematicaly. It never go to the finish. With XP, it's stops with the message: < The file WMVCORE.DLL was not copied correctly. The file Setup placed on your hard drive is not a valid Windows XP system image. If you install from a CD, there may be a problem with the Windows XP CD. >

Skip the file... NO WAY...

I decided to start a low-level format, from the SCSI utility, but I'm not sure it's realy low-level. I wonder if there is not a file staying in the boot sector.

To mention: I can load Windows 98SE without any problem (other technology).

I tryid about everything, except the right one (!). I also upgraded the BIOS from the motherboard with the latest version. NO WAY...

What else can I do ?

Can someone give me the solution ?

If your Windows applications and programs are missing the correct dynamic link library files ( otherwise known as DLL files or .dll ) you've probably been faced with either a reinstallation of your software or a non working application. You may also be upgrading from WinX to 2000 or XP with a backup CD. Copy the above file to a floppy disk or CD, during your next installation when prompted for third part drivers select that option, and load the .dll file
