adaptec AHA3940W troubles

Hey guys,

I recently bought this card and the idea is to hook it up with a akai S3000xl which is a sampler(yes Im making music)

Now I have installed the card in my pc it recognizes it so thats not the problem, I also hooked it up with the sampler and that he sees too, but the problem is that it sais when I start up my pc that the BIOS is not installed. Now I have this floppy with a .bin files and a. hex file and that supposed to be the BIOS, but I dont have a clue how to install this.

It would be real great if someone can help me out with this one!

I think you need a flashing program on the disk.

I recently screwed up the BIOS on my ABIT A17 motherboard and after digging up a floppy disk, downloading the flash program and the latest bios, I was able to reflash the bios by putting the floppy in and starting up.

Maybe try installing a floppy disk drive If you don't have one already and see if it asks for a file. My MB was searching for awardflsh.exe i think.
