Is there a 16 bit emulater for windows XP, im on a AMD64 and want to play some old school games. Are there any options besides VM Ware/ Virtual PC?

For DosBox can you only run the games on their website? (I was wondering because some of them said they were broken while others said supported, etc) Or are those only ones that they have tested?
