mrnxdmx Posted April 7, 2005 Author Posted April 7, 2005 i found this one:http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/...b?1112876315687when i add it to my cd, will it be ok?
smercer Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 sp how can i integrate it to my unattended installation?I would not bother with it, it is purely there for the benifit of microsoft and not yours, therefore you would waste CD space adding it on when you could add something else. The current product activation is full of holes because there are many people that have the same product key and if someone pirates it, microsoft finds out and stops all updates for windows XP with that CD key. this means that they disadvantage good users as well as the bad ones by doing it like this.A lot more people and businesses would be affected by this new additional hoop everyone would have to jump through.
