Mummi Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 HeyFirst things first I'm new in this forum and my english isn't the best in world. I've started making my own unattended win xp CD but there is something in the guide which i don't understand. this:http://unattended.msfn.org/intermediate/me...s/runonceex.htm"Save this as cmdlines.txt inside the $OEM$ folder within your Windows Setup Source folder. If there currently isn't one created, create one."Windows Setup Source folder what is that? And if dont have what should I call it then? ---------------------------------I also have another problem. In "RunOnceEx.cmd creator" there are some parameters. do they have any influence on how the apps are installed or do they only have something to do with they way the end users see the installation? Please Help a NOOB in trouble
Yzöwl Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 So you're running before you can walk then!If you started at the Beginners section on the very first item in the drop down list is Step 1 - Creating a Local Source
Mummi Posted April 4, 2005 Author Posted April 4, 2005 okey.. so I should just put it in the map ("Local Source") which nlite created? But where in the must it lie?
nujackk Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 nlite does not create the $OEM$ folder for you. So hopefully you didn't create a bootable ISO with nlite.you just need to create the folder yourself in the folder you told nlite to make.P.S. no one is answering because this is covered in the guide, which you should read from start to finish. ( I'm sure some will get a chuckle from the irony of a n00b saying this to another) I've been reading the guide over and over for almost a month now so don't think you'll get it all right away.
