When trying to upgrade from windows2000 to win. xp it says it cant find file.So is anyone out there can help me install win xp? The file winnt.sif?

You may want to try reading here:

But that is kinda strange. If the winnt.sif doesn't exist, then it should use the winnt.si_ file instead...Unless of course you deleted the file by accident.
