I need to get a copy because when I got this machine I just got a copy of someones elses. Now it's just about time to get my own. When, where and how much. And is there better versions than others?


There isn't better versions, because you can simply download new updates and slipstream them into the installation CD.

However, there ARE different editions:

  • Home Edition
  • Professional Edition
  • Media Center Edition

OEM VS retail .. I'd go OEM, VLK isn't for single user licenses ;)

Why OEM? Because it's cheaper... Don't need a fancy box..
