SGT_JAX Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 Have anyone ever tried this type of install. I have .4051 and I installed it today and my video card does not work. I know that there is a new version out but I have not been able to get microsoft to send me a copy. I have received a copy from microsoft on certain things but not on this. I'm currently running a dell 2.6ghz machine with 1gb of ram. I have installed vmware and also have installed longhorn with the vmware but it will not find my display drivers. MY current display driver is a intel 82845g but it keep telling me that its not supported by longhorn..Any suggestion!
raskren Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 You install the vmware display adapter driver. Not the Intel driver. The vmware driver is installed along with the vmware tools.
