jfdnh Posted March 29, 2005 Posted March 29, 2005 I have 2 different machines, running XP Pro, formatted w/NTFS. I am unable to make my folders private on either machine as the option does not display. In both cases, I have "administrator" accounts with passwords. When I path to C:\Doc's & Settins\user profile\folder, right click, then select "sharing" I get no visable option to make the folder private. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Takeshi Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Folders inside User profile inherit permissions from their parents by default.Check also you have disabled Simple file Sharing.
