What Is Required To Run Oobe?

Recommended Posts

I know OOBE was suppose to run. And that is what i wanted so that i could set my Username, Computer name before start.

However i could not get it to run. I specially remake my CD in nlite without OOBE deleted ( Which took me a whole day already ) And it still doesn't work.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Push...........

P.S Sorry for the long Code..... I thought

Tag was suppose to shorten it and have scroll bar with the box of code?

[post=294448]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]

that would be CODEBOX not CODE. There's not a button for it, so you'd ahve to type it yourself.

As for the problem, just glancing at the WINNT.SIF i don't seem to see anything wrong. Have you tried removing the file and seeing if it runs then? That would narrow it down to whether it WINNT.SIF or nLite.

Just remember, without the WINNT.SIF file, you'll have to type in everything setup needs. :whistle:
