Hi,

I have obtained an iso file of Longhorn build 4074. However, my CD writer is currently not working, so will the installation still work if I attach the file to Daemon Tools?

no, because unless you are doing an upgrade which isnt reccommended there is no way for that program to be running on a fresh install.

I have two hard drives so I will be installing it on the one which hasn't got WinXP on so I will have two versions of Windows running on it.

i think it will work cause at one time longhorn setup is asking where u want to install it.

I used Daemon Tools because Nero wouldn't let me write the file.

It seems to bee working fine for me...

u can write the iso on a dvd. i use dvd decrypter. start the program>mode>iso>write. that's it.
