cron0s
Hi Guys,I notice that under "Sharing and Security" when right-clicked on any folder. I'm not able to set individual permission to files or folders anymore. When I was using Win2000, it is ok. My PC is standalone, not on Domain. There are also a few user accounts on the same PC. Any ideas, guys?

ravashaak
I don't know why MS enables Simple File Sharing by default. It's merely led to many many wasted hours of troubleshooting worldwide. - Ravashaak
KAndle
the same reason they hide file extensions by default. microsoft thinks we are simple.
ravashaak
Yeah. File extensions aren't important anyways. - Ravashaak
