Xp Problem

well i tried 2 copy games namely gta vc and hl 2 from my friend's hdd by connecting his hdd 2 my puter and copying.but when i try 2 run the games they won't run.ne patch 2 fix the issue.i'm using original win XP

PS:i think it happens with most XP users

the games will not work by just copying u will have to install them from cd .The hard disk doesnot install the games.

m8 but it works from win98 se how come the games r installed i copy their registries also
