jacksont123 Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 Delete a specific cookie?Or is there a shortcut to goto the temporary internet files?ex. %temp% goes to the temp folder in the systemdrive even though the temp folder would be in a different location compared to other computerssuch as: c:\temp or C:\Documents and Settings\fuseruser\Local Settings\Tempbut in this case id like to access C:\Documents and Settings\fuseruser\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files but on other computers the Temporary Internet Files may be located in C:\Temporary Internet Files thats why i want a command that would go to the true Temporary Internet Files folderor a command tthat can search for the Temporary Internet Files folder and delete a file in itthankx alot
XtremeMaC Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 u could try %userprofile%\local settings\Temporary Internet Files\then after that u can delete the cookies. i dunno which one's u'd like...alternatively u can reg query to get [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders]"Cache"="d:\\Documents and Settings\\Administrator\\Local Settings\\Temporary Internet Files"and work from there...
jacksont123 Posted February 27, 2005 Author Posted February 27, 2005 thank youbut what if the temporary files arent in the user profileis there a way to delete the cookies from therebtw im creating a patch that gives Unlimited RapidShare Downloads from the temporary internet files folderin order to use the patch the cookies must be deletedor is there a simpler way to go to a user folder:C:\Documents and Settings\fuseruser\or is there a simpler command to go to the operating system's drive?(besides c:)
