durex Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 Is it possible to edit my unattended.mst file after Ive already created it? Or do I have to do it all over again? I need to change a couple outlook settings I put in....
angadsingh007 Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 Yes!This is possible.Just open the Microsoft Office Custom Installation Wizard Again. The wizard gives an option to open an existing Unattend file. Then at step 4, make sure to give a different path for the new MST file.Attached screenshot of step 3.
durex Posted February 26, 2005 Author Posted February 26, 2005 Excellent.... Now a follow up question.. I ran the Office reducer tool thats floating around here after creating the MST... assuming I dont go trying to add more components, but simply edit some outlook account settings I made.. should I be all set? Thanks again!
angadsingh007 Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 If u are talking about the "Office Shrinker" (@ here), then my friend, u need a clean install of windows before u use that thing...
durex Posted February 27, 2005 Author Posted February 27, 2005 (edited) right... but Ive already done that.. my question is, can I redo my MST to an office source which has already been shrinked?::EDIT:: nm.. tried it and it works without issue.... Edited February 27, 2005 by durex
