I working with Norton Antivirus 2005 ,

I want scan virus finish , My computer will auto shutdown .

Please help me .

well it's no quite understandable what you mean,

all i can recommend you is to avoid symatnec antivirus products, don't ask why...

Don't use the consumer version. Symantec AV 9 corp is better.

What does your event viewer have listed if anything. Are you set to auto start in your system properties after failure?

The computer doesn' auto-shutdown after a scan

It shuts down if only if u choose to after doing a LiveUpdate.
