IDES are virus definitions, so program updates it.

Sophos dont have free update system

i dont think so, program just download for you thats that. You can go yourself to sophos site and download.

its an easy way, imost people dont have time to download and extract files to sophos and then restart CPU (thats the biggest problem).

If you dont like it dont use it, many people use it i just realse it to public.
