TiXer Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 I'm trying to make a boot disk for a Brodcom NetXtreme 57xx Gigabit controller. To do this I need the NDIS2 driver for the ghost boot disk.. The problem is that the one I can find (B57.cab v7.64) wont work! I get the errors "Bad file name", "Can not load driver" and similar messages.. I've been looking for the 7.11 version of the driver but I can't find it..Can anyone tell me where I can find it or what I can do to make it work? I've tried with different drivers also just to check if that could work.. It didn't..
firefoxthebomb Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 Download Broadcom NDIS Driver and unzip and use the file B57.dos for the ghost disk. Once you do that make sure and change your protocol.ini file located in your boot disk under the NET folder to read:[NIC]drivername = B57$Notice the spaces and the B has to be in CAPS.That should do it. You can PM me if you need more help. What version of ghost are you using.
