John use different aproach....no ntoskrnl.exe hacking needed, just two switches in boot.ini/BOOTLOGOUse this switch to have Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 display an installable splash screen instead of the standard splash screen. First, create a 16-color (any 16 colors) 640x480 bitmap and save it in the Windows directory with the name Boot.bmp. Then add "/bootlogo /noguiboot" to the boot.ini selection.
machkris Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Can someone HELP me?I am trying to make my Boot Screen look like the one , but when Windows is booting up it is showing up as these LAST_SESSION.INI with distorted colors. Which file I need to edit in the Windows XP Pro CD and what do I need to do to correct this problem?
