luckyNYboy Posted February 9, 2005 Share Posted February 9, 2005 my computer seems to be mad.I think it's been affecting by some virus or something like that.my problem is : when my laptop is connecting to the internet and when i'm chatting with yahoo messenger the internet was disconnected automatically without my command.also some strange programes or softwares was installed into my laptop automatically and don't even know why.every time when i log on into my computer these softwares always coming up on the screen.can anybody advise me the way to fix this or show me the website that i can download softwares to destroy these virus and spam once and for all.thanks in advance for your help. JoeMSFN Posted February 9, 2005 Share Posted February 9, 2005 Good Tips MCT...I would also recommend after spyware blaster...Goto download.com and get Spybot Search & Destroy Download, run, update it.... and make sure to IMMUNIZE... also do a scan for problems as well..and finally if you're running Windows XP...Goto microsoft.com and get the Spyware Removal Tool install update and do a FULL SCAN (come to think of it... do a full scan with AdAware also) after the scan, be sure to switch all "ignore" to "remove", and somewhere in the configuration options, select "Real Time Scan".If you don't have Win XP, use the TeaTimer feature of Spybot Search & Destroy.
