diesel_98a Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 i have been looking online for the last couple of months but i haven't been able to find an updated bios for my computer. i still have all the info from the scan that i ran through the bios agent, my particular bios is kinda special & and hasn't upgraded in sometime, however when i submitted it, i was sent an email for saying the typically blah blah about how much i could gain from a bios update, with my bios i am think it would be best to have them make. cause i have seen 1st hand what an incorrect bios update can do to a computer. i have an award bios, what i want to know if there is any one out there who has recd a specially made bios update? any issues of any kind? did it hose ur computer?
Jeremy Posted February 8, 2005 Posted February 8, 2005 Heh, I have a Dell Dimension 8300. There have been 7 revisions of the BIOS ROM that I just download, double click and reboot and it's all done. Pretty simple process for my system.
