Well, thing to remember is Server OSes necessarily will take more time to boot that desktops, because that's how they are made - to load lot of things at startup, and require reboot only once in a month or more.If you do want to stick to it, then disable as many services as possible.

yusmol Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 More RAM? I doubt the ram, i have 1GB ram and feel slow on boot time and windows services are not in use had been turn off and still slow on boot.
