hi, download it again and replace it with yours.

it exist many types of hotfixes under the same name.

look here: http://search.microsoft.com/search/results...-us&qu=KB885835

and here:http://search.microsoft.com/search/results.aspx?st=b&na=88&View=en-us&qu=KB885836

I downloaded it again and compared with mine and it is identical byte to byte.Also if I manually execute this update from svcpack folder after setup it updates too.So there must be something which stops them to be installed or cause to install wrongly.

what u are doing is the old method.

pls try the new method.

[ Integrating Hotfixes and Patches ]

Method 1: RyanVM XP Post - SP2 Update Pack (multilingual) http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/updatepack.html

Method 2: Manual Install - (Multilingual) http://rapidshare.de/files-en/426277/SP2_p...ar.html?pmode=1

check which method suits u better.

Method two is something i came up with/ pretty simple. Read the readme.txt

good luck

u might also want to view this

@Astalavista

This /integrate *was* working very well untill I added driverpacks and slipstreamed WMP10.I like Ryans pack however my XP is Turkish version so updates are different.I guess I have to start over with fresh source cd and try again.

ps:your msfn link points to wrong location.

Edit:I looked your post about making uacd and adding hotfixes plus downloaded SP2_patches.rar which is same what I am doing running fixes with /integrate switch
