Making MinAnimate=0 STICK?!

Featured Replies

I'm gonna pull my frickin' hair out. I've got a nice, juicy Regtweaks.reg that I import at t12, which is the Default User Profile. I have verified that ALMOST all the tweaks work properly in every user profile, except for a couple. The only one that REALLY is p***ing me off those is MinAnimate=0. I have VERIFIED that it's in the HKU\.Default key that's appropriate, yet even with that being the case the damned new user profiles ALWAYS have MinAnimate=1.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics]"MinAnimate"="0"
is the code I use in my Regtweaks.reg file. I KNOW it's reading the file, because as I said, the setting is there in the default profile in registry, but for whatever reason it doesn't stick when a new user account logs in.

If this has been asked before I apologize; searches for MinAnimate yield 0 results. If you can help me out here I would be HUGELY appreciative.

Thanks!

Jason

Does anyone even know what I am talking about? :)

Try that one. First key is to enable custom settings. I think MinAnimate and AnimateMinMax keys are the same.
