member11 Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 from what i understand, winxp will detect a number of time an exe file open and add it to frequently used program in start menu.because i use service.msc many times, winxp keeps adding this .msc to frequently used program in start menu. I don't want it there any more.1-how can i add it to "exclusion list" so that it won't be add to frequently used program in the future.?? i also have another question. 2-When you right click on an empty desktop, you will see "new" along with "property". puntoMX Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 Wait, okay...Listen, you are starting to ask simple questions that are easily found with Google for example. Also there is a lot of info here in this forum. Please use search. It’s not that I don’t want to help you, but the rules are that you FIRST search a bit on the forum/NET. You also will learn more if you do it your self.here, a nice site for this kind of questions :http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htmGo to "F" and then to "Frequently Used Programs" for example
